"Here's another classic Christmas LP that took forever to make it to CD, finally came out in an abridged version and is now already out of print again.
For those who are looking for something different for holiday listening but nothing too off the wall, this collection of Christmas tunes played by the ragtime piano master is sure to be of interest. Each tune features Tiny's piano, bass, banjo, chimes and drums. His version of "Here Comes Santa Claus" is stunning and "Tiny's Christmas Medley" with a great transition from "Good King Wenceslas" to "Jingle Bells", is also a highlight. There are a few original tunes as well and some give you a feeling of a turn of the century (the 20th not the 21st) Christmas.
This CD contains 2 songs less than the original Decca LP -- why I don't know -- but the 10 tracks here are great listening."
