"Big Daddy & Red Hot Java's Firebrewed is sizzling! From the opening title cut to the hidden track at the end, this CD is WONDERFUL! Big Daddy & Red Hot Java pushes the Blues envelope into their own Progressive Urban Blues and it's very rewarding. My favorite tunes are Thousand Shades of Blue (an R&B flavored Blues ballad that explores the depths of breaking up with someone your really care for) and Firebrewed (a rollicking Blues romp about the Madonna - Whore complex). Every time I listen to this disc and hear the different layers it gets better and better, and it was pretty damn good to begin with!"
