"From the late, lamented Thelonious Monster, Bob Forrest rises from doing dishes in Silverlake to prove once again that he is one of America's best. Six years off is far too long. If you liked Thelonious, or the likes of Petty, Waits or Chris Cacavas, this is a great pickup for you."

"Bob Forrest's confessional tells it like it is. The former Thelonious Monster could have made something of himself back in the early 90s but, instead, succumbed to the allure of drugs and drink. On this CD, Forrest acknowledges that he blew it but the underlying theme that prevails is that Forrest is just happy to be alive."

"I had never heard of The Bicycle Thief until I saw them open for the Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers in Baltimore. While most of the crowd wasn't into it, I really enjoyed their energy and particularly their music. I don't know Bob Forrest's previous musical accomplishments, but I'm very happy with this disc and am looking into his past stuff. I bought it on Amazon shortly after the show and am very pleased with it. For anyone looking for something new from the world of rock -- something fresh and something real -- buy "You Come and Go Like A Pop Song." It's well worth your money and you will soon be sharing it with your friends."
