Good Single Choice

"When I first heard Beyonce was releasing this as her 3rd single from her multi-platinum Dangerously In Love album, I couldn't have been more disappointed. At the time, I hardly cared for the song and I had labeled it as filler on her album. However, once the song hit the airwaves, I was surprised at how much better it actually sounded on the radio. It didn't sound as strange as I thought it would. It fit right in with everything else on the radio. The song peaked at #4 on the charts (a high mark for a ballad) and held its own. Beyonce addresses a cheating a lover on this song and is determined to find her inner-strength to break it off with him. Most people said this song reminded them of a leftover song from Destiny's Child 2001 album, "Survivor." I have to disagree with this. "Me, Myself and I" is a more mature song with attiude and mature lyrics. Kids may sing along and understand the song, but it isn't one they can relate to.With that said, I'm proud to be the sole review of "Me, Myself and I," Beyonce's best single to date. If you like this song, you should consider picking up her album if you haven't already done so, because the majority of the album doesn't stray far from this."
