CD Reviews

Soundtrack Music From the First Five Movies
John Garrett | NY, USA | 12/10/1999
(5 out of 5 stars)

"The track listing for this disc matches a CD called "Star Trek: The Astral Symphony" which I bought at a local music store. The music is all original soundtrack, and simply incredible. You get beauty, suspense, excitement, and triumph in these lush, full orchestrations. I wish they had included "The Mountain" from ST-5, but who can complain? This disc is a huge money saver, putting the best music from five movies on one CD."
Great Music of Star Trek

"This was the first soundtrack that I listened from Star Trek. I was very impressed with all the music from the different composers of Star Trek. All of it is wonderful made.
Unfortunately this album doesn't necessarily contain "the Best" of Star Trek. I was surprised that "Klingon Battle" from Star Trek I, and "Stealing the Enterprise" from Star Trek III, didn't make it. Unfortunately, Best of music collections always have their snubs. With that aside, this is a good collection of Star Trek music. I would recommed this album to anyone who enjoys this music."
