Goin Hard is the debut album from 24 year old Houston native, Bertell. While this is his first official major label album release, Bertell already possesses a musical resume that would be the envy of many a seasoned performer. He has performed with R.Kelly, Bobby Valentino, Trey Songz and has collaborated with the likes of UGK, Johnta Austin and most notably Multi-Grammy winning producer Bryan-Michael Cox (Usher, Mariah Carey) who signed Bertell to his production company Blackbaby Inc. Bertell was in turn brought to the attention of Merovingian Music who promptly signed him via a joint venture with Capitol Records/ EMI. Both in musical talent and temperament Bertell is reminiscent of the old school R&B crooner that is currently missing from today's music scene but still craved by a large pocket of music consumers. Bertell's music will find a welcome home among fans of R.Kelly, Trey Songz and Bobby Valentino to name a few.
