"I grew up in South America in the 60's listening to "Swingin' Safari". It remained one of the most precious mementos from my childhood. It took me over 10 years to recover the album I grew up listening to, and it was in pretty bad shape. I can't believe it finally has been restored to a CD. My friends and my generation never heard of him. Now, with this CD, music lovers will be able to enjoy one of the best jazz collections from the last century."

"having grown up in West Africa in the 60's and listening to Swingin Safari as a child, it has always had a magical feel for me! The music i think still has a cool sound and now ive found it on cd, my drive to work will never be the same!! barry"
