"Over the past year, I have been blessed to befriend Warfield Moose, Jr., a Lakota Sioux Medicine Man. His father was Warfield Moose Sr., who after Black Elk's death in 1950, recorded and translated interviews with Ben Black Elk, son of the famous Black Elk -- one of the most influential Lakota leaders in history.

There's a short video I produced to assist Warfield Moose Jr. as he tells the story of the Lakota people on college campuses and elsewhere -- search 'kevinphilipmiller' on YouTube.

Warfield's wonderful music is the soundtrack for this video and was co-produced by Shilo Dog. Their CD is called "Ben Black Elk Speaks" and won "Best Historical Recording" at the 2003 Native American Music Awards, and can be purchased on Amazon. It is incredibly powerful.
