CD ReviewsBella Madre de'fiori, Poi che riseppe Orfeo, and Correa nel Bjorn Viberg | European Union | 08/30/2007 (5 out of 5 stars) "Bella Madre de'fiori, Poi che riseppe Orfeo, and Correa nel seno amato: Scarlatti Cantatas~ Alessandro Scarlatti is a very fine recording indeed. Maria Cristina Kiehr sings truly like an angel and her soprano skills are quite on par to sing this work in question. harmonia mundi certainly has not skimped on the book-let and the cover has a very nice photo of Ms Kiehr and the back cover is also a very fitting photo of the musicians. The essay written Reinhard Strohm is very well-written and quite informative. One minor problem is that font is a bit small but that is minute problem with this fine production. Even so I love Baroque music and Scarlatti is a very fine example of the genius behind this sublime genre. I give this album 5 well deserved stars."
