Album Details

Bell X1 Are Firmly Established as One of the Biggest Bands in their Native Ireland. Their Second Album 'flock' was Released in Ireland in October 2005 and Shot Straight to Number One. At the End of January the Band Played to 6,000 Fans at a Sell-out Show at Dublin's Rds Before Performing Live During the Prestigious Meteor Awards at which They Are Nominated for Best Album and Best Irish Band. 'flame' is a Lithe, Disco-inspired Romp that Takes in Camp Handclaps, Falsetto Vocal Stabs, Slinky Guitar Work and a Killer Shout-a-long Chorus.

"Better than Bono's receding hairline; Bell X1 are Ireland's pop rock supremos and their latest single Flame is no exception. With Franzesque guitars, a funky bass line and with a chorus as addictive as crack, Bell X1 reiterate their chameleon like ability to interchange between different styles and produce something original; swinging from Brit-pop to folk to falsetto vocals to camp handclaps, Flame has a little bit of something for everyone like well stocked Morrisons.

This infectious discotheque romp with its slinky guitar could be one of the singles of the year and we're only in February. It seems Christmas has come early!"
