"A great CD. It had to grow on me a bit, but once you have acquired the taste of Battershell, it's difficult not to have lyrics fragments popping up in your mind, every now and then. I came across them looking for info on Veruca Salt, but musically, there's hardly any resemblance. The bi-tonal intro to "Weed" is typically Sonic Youth, though. Addictive. Highly recommended."

This cd rocks!

"I love this cd- Battershell is such a cute band! I think they have other cds as well but I can't ever find them. I'm looking though. But anyways, Sunshine is a kick assed cd- I love it. I listen to it all the time. I wish I could see them in concert."

I agree: Sunshine in Popopia is an awesome CD! (Make sure you check the secret track for a Blondie cover song). As far as Battershell's other work, Luv Punks, it is truly a great cd with 4 secret tracks...one of the best CD's to own. Battershell will also be in the soon to be released film entitled "Lilith On Top"...it has video footage of their performance as the one and only luv punk band to play the Lilith Fair. Jess, look for the CD "Luv Punks" by Battershell on Canadian CD selling sites."
