CD Reviews

Finally the original content of the disk is out

"Finally the concert is out as it was originally released back then in Germany. I mean with all the original songs.

I saw this concert the day I turned 14 in Stuttgart in 1982. At that time I was so young I couldn't believe I was watching the actual band playing in front of this crowd.

The concert started with a black curtain that would soon open up leaving a giant butterfly carved into the black curtain with lights and smoke passing through it as the band started to play the intro.

As the song finally started the curtain opened. The band was there, the crowd went crazy, I almost fainted. That song was "Love On The Line" played with a way more dynamic pace than what we can hear on the album "Eyes Of The Universe". It was just perfect.

Soon after I bought the CD recorded in Berlin. After a week my player jammed the tape that became unplayable. I soon moved to France and bought another tape there which was missing the first song of the concert. I never understood why they removed this great intro from the album and butchered the show. Another song was missing too, Rock N' Roll Lady. Since then I've checked the CD when it was invented a few years later but it still had the missing songs.

Since that day I've thought I wouldn't listen to that version of the song ever again. But 25 years later here we are.

Man, it took a long time.
