Assisting her with this effort are a wonderful group of passionate musicians including: Kirk Whalum, James Harrah (Madonna, Aretha Franklin), David Leach (Ben Harper, the Emotions), Dapo Torimiro (Laurin Hill, Stevie Wonder), Michael Bland (Prince, Soul Asylum), Tariqh Akoni (Christina Aguillara, Josh Groban), Rhonda Smith (Jeff Beck, Prince), Oscar Castro Neves, Gail Deadrick (Natalie Cole), David Benoit, Michael Ruff, Marty Walsh, Marco Mendoza, Joey Heridia, Mark LeVang and Walter Rodriguez. The project was recorded live, at East West Studios in Hollywood over a six day period. It was recorded and mixed by Clark Germain and produced by Jeffrey Weber.
