That, of course, has always been the case for the majority of jazz artists, to remain relatively obscure, however, you just wish that things could be different, especially when an artist comes along and displays such great technical command, dynamic range, emotional depth, and exquisite taste. Ms. Montgomery shows all that and more with this album. Her work rings with the kind of sincerity not found very often on the "charts." The average music buyers don't know what they're missing!"
