This is a fine comp of (mostly) early Eddie Hinton sides. This must be what toured the Alabama fraternity circuit - solid covers of r&b hits and misses. This is certainly a specialist-aimed release; if you are an Eddie Hinton fan, buy it right now! Since clips are posted, you can get a feel for the music. I am a fan of Eddie and it provides a side I had only imagined. What a great find to stumble across!" |
