The BMX Bandits were formed in Bellshill, Lanarkshire in 1985 by Duglas Stewart the band were so-named as Duglas didn't expect them to last longer than one gig. Little was he to know - almost 20 years later Vinyl Japan presents a retrospective of their radio sessions. The band were core members of the NME-coined C86 movement. In fact their ever changing line-up featured members of the Faith Healers, Soup Dragons, Teenage Fanclub & the Vaselines - all of whom were influential at the time. Includes three bonus tracks, 'Green Grow The Rashes', 'Hey Little Tomboy' (both featuring Pearfishers), & 'Someone To Share My Life With'. Vinyl Japan.
