Azrael s Bane hails from Houston, Texas and began playing local shows in June of 2002. Headlining status came quick as rave reviews from local music fans and press alike came pouring in. Now they boast a large local following and have expanded to regional touring, becoming one of the top drawing bands in the Houston area and opening for national acts such as George Lynch (Dokken), Quiet Riot, LA Guns, Lillian Axe, Angel, WASP and others, including a slot on one of the World s largest Latin American festivals, the Monterrey Metal Fest in 2005. Descriptions running the gamet of heavy music today, Power Metal, Prog, Hard Rock, just don t do justice to the music that is Azrael s Bane. The members have embraced and expanded upon the music of predecessors such as Iron Maiden, Savatage, Lillian Axe, and Queensryche and created music that is as timeless as it is unique.
