"If you are looking for klezmer music go no further. This is some killer music from the most traditional to the most contemporary. The Austin Klezmorim stretch the envelope of klezmer to the max. The musicians are some of the finest in the style as well as other styles such as jazz, blues, tango...
The big hit for me is The Big Megilla. The story of the holiday of Purim told as a tribute to the beat poet Lord Buckley.
Averbach's original music on the CD is deliteful and lively. Losim Gayn and Zeltser Vasser get things really moving while Sharpe's rendition of Sha Shtil! show the band's sensitivity to the most traditional Yiddish music."
