Ariosti's cantatas, are different with Bach's and more near to italy's style, keeping more opera factors in it, more beautiful bel canto. We could find this tradition from Cesti, A. Scarlatti, and Handel---, I found it had been ingored in today, and we seldom have a chance to find from CDs. However, you wouldn't be disappointed of it, I believe."
