"To play good Surf music you need few important particulars: precision when you play, a great heart, knowing what rock 'n' roll is, and then Fender guitars, Fender Amps and Fender Reverb Units. Nothing more than this. And the Astronauts had all these features together. I Think "Movin'" is the most exciting surf song of the history, a different sound from Dick Dale, but he was looking for a powerful sound, Astronauts are pure class and style. And the guitar solo in "Kuk" (attention, "Kuk" and "Banzaii Pipeline" are inverted in the track list...) is the best solo I've ever heard for its structure, its energy and its sound (the Jaguar guitar sounds pratically perfect in this song). Believe me, if you want to know what Surf music is, but this album!!"
