CD Reviews

Fairly good song, expensive single - nothing special
smg666@mac.com | Boston, MA | 07/19/2000
(4 out of 5 stars)

"I liked this song overall (though it did start out rather annoying!), but it is not anything special. Most other astral projection songs are equal and many are definitively better. Certainly if you don't like astral projection (not to say they're bad... I think they're consistently excellent) to start with you are not going to like this. If you've heard them and liked it, by all means go and buy a full album. This song is no better than an average (if such a thing exists) production from astral projection. Nothing special."
Great track, but you should buy the album

"To me, this is one of the best track from Astral Projection, but instead of getting the single, you should buy the album, "Dancing Galaxy", for a full-featured AP experience. The Cass&Slide remix SUCKS, they destroyed such a beautiful song and turned it into some mindless tech-house babble. How could AP ever approve of such a pathetic excuse for a remix? Anyway, the original track is nothing short of mindblowing, so buy the album and enjoy some of the best trance ever recorded."
Too generic

"The song is a worthwhile listen... but way too repetitive and boring to want to go back to.In my opinion the original song "Liquid Sun" is the best song ever by Astral Projection. Warning: NOT A SONG TO DANCE TO.This remix has little if nothing to do with the original, which is not a bad thing, but still... just not a good enough track to be called "great". While Liquid Sun had memorable melodic lines, the C&S remix is just a straight-up "big base" dance tune. Almost the opposite of what Liquid Sun was ever meant to be :)"
