"I already own another CD by the Litto Nebia Quintet that features the music of Enrique Cadicamo and which contains many of the same songs. However, I'm the type of guy who has to "have it all", so I picked this up despite the heavy duplication of songs. The thing about tango, I've learned, is that each new recording of a song by a slightly different line-up gives it a new face. Litto Nebia's presentation of the music of Enrique Cadicamo under the centenarian's guidance shows how Cadicamo intended for the music to be played. The music here is simple, straightforward, and smooth, played in a manner one might expect to hear in an upscale club. The musicianship is superb, each song a gem, flowing effortlessly from one expression to another without any discordant interlude. Each musician is given the opportunity to shine, and shine they do without any ostentation or heroics. The album closes with Nostalgias which has always been one of my favorite Cadicamo tunes, but the quality of the album as a whole makes it impossible to pick any one song as the best. If you like traditional tango the way it was played before the big orchestras, you'll fall in love with this relaxing album which is suitable for listening at home or in the office."
