CD Reviews

Great new sound
D. Bouley | Hartford, CT | 11/13/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Invigorating mix of rock guitar riffs, bluesy rhythms & raspy vocals. Throw some soulful piano in & you've got a new band that everyone should hear.

I first heard the chorus of 'Still in the Dark' on my local rock station (WCCC in Hartford, CT - a station famous for promoting new bands - largely responsible for Staind's success) and I thought 'wow...did Warrant make a new album?'. Don't get me wrong - this is no hair band revival - just that the vocal inflection in that particular chorus seemed very 1990 Jani Lane-esque, in the best way possible.

Give 'em a listen - they have it together."
Excellent band

"I first heard these guys on cable TV's music channels. Their CD was a little hard to find at a regular price but if you check out MySpace or Facebook, you can buy it there!

I really dig the singers voice and they seem to have a sound that I don't hear enough on the radio. I think if you like The Parlor Mob and The Answer,....you'd definitely like these guys. Check them out! Front to back, the whole CD is great! They deserve more radio play!!"
This band rocks!
T. Baker | Carthage, MO USA | 05/19/2009

"Caught this band as the opening act for Rick Springfield in Ardmore, OK, so I'm dating myself with the admission that I went to see Rick. BUT! This band rocked so hard I actually ran back out front & bought their CD. The brothers Aranda bring a mix of blues, 80's power ballad, Jimi Hendrix-y riffs & I would swear, even some Spanish guitar influence, and twist it into a sound all their own. The lead guitarist is raw, but never messy, and the vocalist has an immediately identifiable voice that should have set them apart from the other wanna-be's already. The live performance was entertaining, tight, and professional, and the CD is, as the previous reviewer said, addictive. You'll be singing along by the 2nd time you listen to this. Why I never heard of these guys before this, I'll never know. They are fantastic!"
