"Band's 1969 first of three 'actual' lp's. As it is, I manage from time and again to run across fans that do remember Aphrodite's Child as a very cool short-lived progressive / art rock trio from the '70's. Tunes here I liked the best were the somewhat emotion-filled / dramatic title track "End Of The World", the beautifully played "Rain And Tears", "Valley of Sadness" and "Day Of The Fool". Personnel: Vangleis-bass & keyboards, Demis Roussos-guitar & vocals and Lucas Sideras-drums & vocals. Should possibly do a lot for fans of Camel, Hatfield And The North, Egg and maybe Gong. A nice find."
