CD Reviews

A MUST BUY!!!
Garrett Reeves | Arlington, TX United States | 04/10/2001
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This CD is one of those that you can pop in at a party and just let it play through. If you're into progressive house, you must buy this CD. It's full of hard beats and AWESOME build ups. Track 11, "The Funeral" by Plasmic Honey is undoubtedly the most intense song I have ever heard. Also, if you like track 11 along with the whole CD, buy Welcome to the Club by Plasmic Honey. It really kicks a**!!!!"
Great Progressive House

"The other reviewers called this album trance and based their opinion on this as being a "trance" album. It's not trance, it's PROGRESSIVE HOUSE. It doesn't have long, melodic breakdowns or slow down-tempo piano riffs. What this cd does have is hard, progressive house beats. It's another dark masterpiece by Anthony Acid and DJ Skribble. This cd combines a couple of today's newer anthems with some other very good tracks. I almost didn't buy this cd because it had Zombie Nation and Blow Ya Mind on it. (Both *VERY* overplayed songs) I bought it because MDMA volumes 1 and 2 were fantastic and I was not dissappointed. The way that these guys tease you with a track and mix in the new beat is just incredible. If you like progressive house then I think you'll love this cd. I've been pushing my stereo (and ears) to the limit with this for the past week since I've bought it. I think it's well put together and very easy to lose yourself in."
Really good, dark progressive house.

"If you are ever in the mood to jam to something other than the usual sounds of the trance and house out there, then this is the cd for you. Continuing the trend of the two previous mdma volumes, the music is intense and full of buildups. This one takes it a step further with really dark, hard mixes that pound deep bass. Except for Zombie Nation and Into my Brain, the songs are all fairly new and have not been included on many other compilations. For a similar sound, check out Plasmic Honey...their song "The Funeral" is included In this mix."
