Tim Regan has been honing his pop chops with the likes of Memphis indie poppers Snowglobe, backed up Hank Williams granddaughter Holly Williams, tinkled the ivories for Mark Linkous Sparklehorse, and most recently acted as multi-instrumentalist with Austin s pop sensations Oh No! Oh My! After pro-creating with these fine established musical combos, Regan set out to create his own pop masterpiece in 2008 with several of the top players in the vibrant Memphis music scene forming the Antenna Shoes, who debuted at the 1st ever Memphis Pops festival in 2007. Regan s backlog of inspirations, dreams, and road experiences helped to create one of the top pop gems of 2008, Generous Gambler. Antenna Shoes features a revolving door of the best of the top-shelf Memphis musicians: Tim Regan on vocals, guitars, and keyboards; Steve Selvidge (Hold Steady/Big Ass Truck/Amy LaVere) on guitar; Paul Taylor (North Mississippi All-Stars/Chuck Prophet/Amy LaVere) on drums; Brandon Robertson (Snowglobe) on bass; Luke White (the Coach and Four/Snowglobe) on guitar and vocals; and Nahshon Benford (Snowglobe) on trumpet and flute.
