This CD was done in a couple of takes in the recording studio in New York in August 2005 without the benefit of formal arrangements, extensive rehearsals and retakes. Here is pure Annie Ross, singing old standards with a fabulous backup quintet of Bucky Pizzarelli, Warren Vaché, Jimmy Wormworth, Tardo Hammer and Neal Miner. What is more is there to say? Here is Annie's fabulous voice, more mature sure, but even more mellow and cool. Thanks for the music, Ms. Ross."
