I Don't Want It Anymore exposes the personal desires which distract and prevent one from realizing what would truly bring joy into one's life. Black Man's Daughter is a celebration of her own multi-racial heritage, Annette challenges us to recognize our own racial heritage and confront any existing racial prejudice.
