CD ReviewsAnother Gem From A Gem Of A Singer Kelly R. Mix | salem, oregon USA | 12/14/1999 (5 out of 5 stars) "Originally released in 1991 as "NASHVILLE" by Curb Records, this album represents a re-issue of Andy Williams' most recent release of non holiday material. Andy went to Nashville and recorded this with veteran country producer Jimmy Bowen. The result is a magnificent collection of semi-country ballads. Recorded at the time of the gulf war, "Ship In A Botttle" tells the poignent story of young love seperated by war. Another favoite here is the up tempo "One track Mem'ry" an excellent country effort by Andy. The only track not included on the 1991 release that is featured here is 1975's "If I Could Only Go Back Again". Though released 16 years earlier on the Columbia album "You Lay So Easy On My Mind", this song written by Williams protege Alan Osmond is an excellent addition to this collection. This marks Andy's third all country album (1980's Let's Love While We Can was an excellent country effort) and his best to date."
