I was first introduced to Andrew Young when I heard the song "Games" being played over a co-workers desktop computer. I recalled hearing the song played before, but I never stopped to listen to the words. As I listened, I focused only on the lyrics. Young speaks the truth - Let me tell ya!
Besides the emotion behind Young's work, "A Picture of My Life" is also very poetic. You can almost feel what Young was experiencing during each moment of each song. I highly recommend buying this CD . . . there isn't a song on it you won't like." |
