Synopsis

Album Description
Andrea Perry is something of a reclusive musical savant. She describes herself as'"pathologically shy' and, therefore, chooses not to perform in front of a live audience. We don't care. Her music is the most original, the most honest, and the most engrossing that we've heard in a long time. Her songwriting voice mixes the quirk of youth with the hard fought wisdom of life.

Outstanding and Original

(5 out of 5 stars)

"Ms. Perry's thoughful, dreamy and Beatle-esqe debut is one of the most original recordings of the year. Blending beautifully perfect lyrics with original and catchy arrangements, her style and warm voice will make you beg for more. Simply outstanding."

""Saturn Lights My Way" was the first song I heard off this CD and I was totally blown away by the fresh production, unique melodic, lyrical content and Andrea's enchantingly playful voice. I was immediately hooked and sought out everything I could find by Andrea and was thrilled when "Saturday Morning Sweet Shoppe", her first album, finally came out. It's really a classic first album in that every song is a flawless gem. "Wilderness" is one of the most gorgeous songs I've ever heard... and other highlights include the pop perfection of "Simple", the almost African pop of "Making Her Up" to the grunge of "I Rued The Day". If you like quirky, intelligent but heartfelt music, this one's for you."
