"Anarbor's debut full length, The Words You Don't Swallow, is a diverse and well written album that leaves the listener wanting more.
The first four tracks deliver an urgency that is almost unheard of for a pop rock band. "Gypsy Woman" delivers what could be one of the best powerpop/rock performances of the year, borrowing a thing or two from bands of the 70's and proving they can really rock. "Mr. Big Shot" is the most urgent song of the album and is guaranteed to stick with you, with its driving, poppy guitar riffs and atchy chorus. "Carefree Highway" really has the carefree spirit
The band should be applauded for trying something different with each song. "Going To Jail" has a bluesy feel to it. "Let The Games Begin" is an upbeat pop rock number."Useless" showcases an uncharacteristic "emo" nature.
The Words You Don't Swallow is a solid debut for a band that is still relatively unknown. I expect great things to come in the future :)"
