"Ambient Odyssey isn't a jaw-dropping ambient masterpiece like, say, Global Communication's 76:14 or FSOL's Lifeforms, but it is still a good listen. Each of the 4 discs has a distinct style - disc 1 is all floaty pads, 2 seems more breakbeat-ish and percussiony, 3 seems all Middle-Eastern, and 4 is very minimalistic. Whatever disc you play, it's all very spacey and psyched-out, which is cool in my opinion. You can actually hear the samples at the German branch of Amazon, so if you're curious, you should go there. If you like this, you should listen to another ambient compilation (on the same record label as this one) called Chilled Trance - it's very similar; better too, I reckon."
