CD Reviews

Great Sound

"I found this band on MP3.com over a year ago and instantly I was drawn into the wonderful, thoughtfull, and powerful sound that they have. I needed more, and I bought this CD. There are very uplifting songs (One Hell of a Year), some very powerful slower songs (Tragedy Todd) and ones that will get traped inside your head (Sadie's Eyes, Voice of Elvis). Trapped Inside a Monday has been one of my five most listened to CD's in the past year. If you are fans of Counting Crows, Ben Harper, Dave Matthews and others like them; you will not be disapointed with Almost Speechless. I hope the tour the midwest sometime. I will be in line to see them for sure!"
Flock of Sigelmans

"A powerhouse band that suffered greatly from the loss of celloist and sexual tiger, Ben "Harry" Sigelman. The CD itself features Ben but the live performance has degraded without his tasteful cello lines and heartfelt vocals. And Ben's abs...man...you could shred cheese on those things. I guess 'Somewhat Bitter' is my favorite track mainly because...man...i'm sorry..those abs...but seriously, a great song that reminds me of alot of my favorite modern bands: Matchbox 20, Megadeth, Flock of Seagulls, The Kicking Ninjas, and BroTiger. All in all the band is on its way to major stardom. I would give it more than three stars but Ben's ABSence has damaged the band's once sexy image. Rock on Almost Speechless. Rock on."
