"Ultraviolet is the 1992 release from All About Eve. This band's older material hailed to the old school goth pop of the late 80's. However, with the release of this effort, they broke barriers and merged elements of heavy guitar-effected riffs and angelic voices into a beautiful array of noise and darkness. Highlights include the opener Phased, Yesterday Goodbye, Some Finer Day and Freeze. Fans of Cocteau Twins, My Bloody Valentine, Curve, Cranes or Lush may see the beauty in these wonderfully constructed art-rock gems."
