Unsung Diva

"When talking of new broadway divas, enough is not spoken of Alison Fraser and the great body of work she has done. This album is just one more great achievement to add to her list. A sampling of broadway, pop, swing, and so much more.At one wonderful moment on the CD, all I can say is it's more fun then a "clam bake." If you know Alison Fraser's work you'll be in love, if you do not -you'll be amazed. Buy it now!"
What Marlene was to Berlin, Alison Fraser is to New York!!!

"I don't live in New York anymore but I love to listen to this CD and remember what a sexy great town it is, evoked so richly by Ms. Fraser's sexy great voice. This album only reinforces the sense one has that Ms. Fraser is the only young musical theatre star who could have held her own against the legends of the 20s, 30s and 40s. She has wit and style, a supple voice, great material, and is a wonderful actress to boot - I was fortunate enough to see her on stage in "Secret Garden" and "Romance Romance." Truly, she sounds like no one else. Anyone who wants to hear what a real singing star sounds like, or who - like me, wishes they were in New York - need only put this CD in, sit back and enjoy."
A pleasure for musical theatre and cabaret enthusiasts.

"Alison Fraser is one of the great actresses of the contemporary musical theatre, and this CD gives a great sample of her talent and appeal. For musical theatre fans, the inclusion of a "lost track" from William Finn's "In Trousers" is a real bonus -- and Fraser's performance is sharp, funny, and touching all at once. If you enjoy musical theatre/cabaret song stylings, this album will be a true pleasure."
