CD Reviews

Enlightening Trip Thru Hyperspace & Self
Spacebliss@webtv.net | Southern California | 03/16/1999
(5 out of 5 stars)

"One of the most notable recordings of this century. Proper setting for this would be in an altered state of mind, and with silence among all listeners. You will go on a very enlightening coaster ride through terror and triumph. The masses would ridicule the message but WE understand. Very high quality music, words, and brainwave manipulation. This is my favorite "lecture" of all time! Those interested in self-discovery, chaos theory, entheogens, and the history of our species, will certainly love this CD."
Performance show of a different kind
Jay M | Dublin, Ireland | 10/13/2001
(3 out of 5 stars)

"This was recorded live as an audio visual show with noted man of words Terrence McKenna providing his words of wisdom and thought along to a musical backdrop provided by Jonah Sharp (Spacetime Continuum). If you can overcome McKenna's constant thoughts on aliens and other worlds then this may be a good purchase for you. It provides an early listen to Jonah's work which would later develop into masterpieces like 'Sea Biscuit' and 'Emit Ecaps'. His ambient soundscapes and beats provide a perfect backdrop for McKenna's thoughts and word play. Some of you may buy this because it features Terrence McKenna, and if you do you will be very satisfied as he is in full flow and good form. Myself, I bought it for the music. But be warned, if you're not a fan of either Sharp or McKenna, it may be advisable to look elesewhere."
Tonight 4 Ur edification N amusement 3 raves 2 interregnums
Scott A. Riddle | 08/03/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Terence lays it out, an overview of his ideas. He raps up so much in symbiotic overview of prehistory and how what's happening in this modern Archaic Revival and where that's leading us. All of this is told to some of the most totally tripped out jazzed rocking techno and it all just combines into something you can groove to.

Mckenna knows how to Rave, giving us insight into shamanism and the plane world that surrounds us everyday. He speaks of the human mind our body's connectiveness to nature with community, sexuality, and intelligence that leads to our eventual jump to hyperspace.

This CD trip is a cosmic journey taking you up! Terence explains the DMT experience. DMT is a chemical inside the human brain that is classified as an illegal substance, so under the current law every human being is in possession of a class one drug.

Terence explains humans are the result of billions and billions of years, that our bodies are the cutting edge of organistic transformation of matter in this cosmos. The most novel thing known to humanity in existence is what sets behind your eyes. We are nature's most brilliant experiment thus far. We are capable of using our energy to create temples, art, bombs to use our energy against an enemy. But things are changing, the world is about to transform itself, supernatural reality is pulling us forward into collective transformation.

The psychedelic shaman is the one who can receive messages from the future to change the present, Someone who has dissolved the boundaries between the past, present and future. We are part of the planetary destiny. What psychedelics mean is a celebration of life of love and reemergence of a community not of consumerism."
