CD Reviews

Nothing new here if you have Music Bank
Alex Berezowsky | Chicago, Illinois USA | 09/18/2006
(4 out of 5 stars)

"This review is in regards to the [IMPORT] version which contains two remixes of Again - "Jungle" and "Tattoo of Pain".

If you're a serious Alice in Chains fan you'll obviously already have the domestic version of this album. The two remixes can be found in the Music Bank box set, although the Jungle remix is "hidden" on the fourth (data) cd in the x:/audio/ folder.

So to summarize - this is a fantastic album, with five superb tracks (Grind, Again, Heaven Beside You, God Am, and Over Now), and seven other solid cuts. No filler to be found here!

However, for the price of this import ($41.49 as of 09/18/2006), you can almost afford to buy the domestic version AND Music Bank ($10.99 and $34.99 respectively), which results in much more value for your dollar."
Nice for collectors

"Anything that Alice in Chains releases is gold to me, but I think this is for collectors only. Both of the remixes for "Again" are unique, but not necessary to live. The first one is on the box set, and the second can be heard at the end of the CD-Rom game that also comes in the box set. So hard core collectors will not be disappointed, others may cringe at the price."
