For thousands of years Native peoples in the Western Hemisphere have believed the flute has special healing powers. On "Heal's Suite" acclaimed Native American flute player re-creates many of the sounds and moods of Native healing practices. Using a variety of Native American flutes, including double flute, Apache flute and ocarinas, Alice has created a suite of compositions which lead the listener into the healing sounds of the flute. Alice frames the sounds of the flute with percussion and Nature sounds.
