"It hadn't ocurred to me how special it was to find a tenor with squeaky clean tecnique that can interpret Mariachi repertoire with integrity, heart & soul until I heard the putrid attempts by Ramon Vargas & Placido Domingo. El Cuervo is much, much, much better at this music than either of those two....he has one of the most powerful yet silky tenor voice I have heard. This CD is a great buy."
