"This is his first solo album, since leaving the Animals, and it's a credible effort. While lacking the raw power of Eric Burdon's vocals, his keyboard work remains second to none. Some of the tracks, like Biggest Night Of Her Life, meander into light pop, but others, like Critic's Choice, have real energy. Going' Down Slow is a particularly compelling rendition of an old blues standard, and shows that Price, at his best, covers a wide range of material."
