Al Monti, born and raised in Providence RI, has performed for more than twenty four years. He writes all of his own material and performs regularly, singing and playing guitar. You can catch him solo acoustic, with a power trio or a nine piece horn band. He is authentic in his writing and performance and stays true to his soul. His sound is in the vein of Rolling Stones rock and roll and the blues from Robert Johnson to Stevie Ray Vaughn and Albert Collins.His delivery is passionate, soulful and real in every sense. He has had the oppurtinity to share the stage with many including two shows with the most famous bluesman alive, BB King. He has also performed with Texas bluesman, Alan Haynes and the late, legendary Uncle John Turner. Al now lives in Austin Texas with his wife and two dogs.
