Synopsis

Product Description
New Age Voice (NAV) Awards: "Meditation/Healing Album of the Year" Winner Reiki is the guided movement of Ki or life energy. Everyone of us has currents flowing through our bodies. Reiki assists the body in maintaining a healthy flow of energy. Energy currents in motion create vibrations. The art of combining vibrations harmoniously is called Music. Reiki and Music share a common principle of healing: Attunement. Reiki has five symbols that the healer uses to focus the energy. Until recent times, these symbols were kept secret and given to Reiki initiates only. Now these symbols can be found in various publications around the world. Buddhist tradition openly recognizes these symbols as the five steps on the Path to Enlightenment. The first of these symbols is called the Cho Ku Rei. The Cho Ku Rei can assist us in focusing within, taking us into the Labyrinth of our true being. When we walk the Labyrinth we walk the Passage of Healing. Applying the method of sacred geometry to the first of the Reiki symbols, along with ancient tunings, chakra intervals, overtone frequencies, resultant rhythms, Tibetan chant and angelic melodies, Cho Ku Rei is shared with love and respect to all beings on a path of healing.

CD Reviews

Trance-sending music!
Doug Vencill | Independence, MO United States | 06/27/2001
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I was sorry to read Mical's assessment of a very fine album for meditation, relaxation and Reiki sessions. He obviously approached it from a mercantile point of view, but then, everyone's entitled to their opinion. I give this recording 5 stars for the depth of its beauty and the way it flows steadily for nearly an hour, which for me is an optimal length of time for a good, deep meditation. The lush blending of synths and choir-like vocals is enough to (hopefully) take even the most cynical among us into a higher state of consciousness and a deeper state of physical/mental/spiritual relaxation. Took me a long time to find this recording and am glad it is now in my collection. I would also recommend the Anuvida/Nik Tyndall collaborations as well as the recordings of James Johnson, Liquid Mind, and my idol, Jonn Serrie. Thank God, with the state that our planet is in today, that we have music like this to calm us down and relax us after a day of stress, road rage, and Republicans. I hope to be fortunate enough to record music like this myself someday."
Soothing, entrancing healing music

"Weave has produced an excellent disc of healing music, incorporating soothing, repetitive chord patterns and an angelic choral effect. The depth and flow of the music are very relaxing, excellent for helping a person relax the mind and open up to healing energy flow. The music, however, is so entrancing that it might not be suitable for listening in many situations where you can't allow yourself to be hypnotized or lulled into a deep state of relaxation. I see the use of the Reiki symbol on the album as appropriate, as the significance of the symbols has been distorted since the life of Usui. Symbols are not secret or the true source of Reiki power or energy, they are more accurately described as tools to help one attune to or resonate with energy - there are now many "new" Reiki styles with new symbols and opportunities for teaching and making more money. Since Reiki is universal life force, no training or symbols are necessary for everyone to access that energy, and those concerned with "protecting" the symbols are on a misguided quest. Weave has produced a soothing composition and shared it, along with a Reiki symbol and symbol meaning, with the world. I appreciate this contribution."
Excellent!

"At the age of 56, I have traveled throughout much of the world, following my higher self, learning as much as I can about my true self - my beloved Spirit. And now I am sharing what I have learned. Besides my writing, I am a Chi fitness group instructor for the young and the young at heart. The exercises are essentially a continuous movement of Yoga, Qigong (Chi Kung)and Wu Shu forms for a period of up to sixty minutes. I use the music of this CD as background for my instruction. It is powerful yet peaceful. The low fundamental frequencies provide firm, solid grounding while the higher entrainment frequencies allow the rest of the body to flow freely in concert. With its Reiki touch, it provides a subtle, non-invasive means for attunement, thereby enabling the students to self-heal, strengthen and balance their personal energy systems - hence their flow of personal Chi. The music is awesome. It's perfect. I gave it four stars simply because I believe that there is always room for growth. Thank you Weave. Namaste."
