He was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska and has lived all over the state from the valley to the bush. Growing up in Alaska's hip hop scene, Akream has been jotting down rhymes since elementary school and has always represented his home state to the fullest. After establishing Arctic Flow Records in 2000 and releasing his first e.p., AK Blunted, Akream and the rest of the Arctic Flow staff worked hard to put together his first full-length album, Way Too Cold, released in 2001. The album features northcoast artists such as Josh Boots, Soiled Seed, Nauseous and OB1 and production by Central Cali Native Phresh Kutz and Arctic Flow's in house production team The Formula.
