Album DescriptionAdam Levy is best known for his steady gig as the featured guitarist in Norah Jones' Handsome Band. He's played on both of her CDs. Before playing with Jones, he could be heard with Tracy Chapman, most notably his bluesy guitar work on the hit single "Give Me One Reason." Recently, he guested on Amos Lee's eponymous Blue Note debut. In addition to Levy's skills as a guitarist, he is a gifted songwriter. The best way to hear Levy's folk/pop/blues gems, however, is straight from the source. "Loose Rhymes -- Live on Ludlow Street" is Levy's auspicious debut as a singer/songwriter. Recorded and mixed by Grammy-winning producer Steve Rosenthal, the album was tracked live at the Living Room in NYC. Levy's agile backing band includes bassist Todd Sickafoose (Ani DiFranco) and drummer Ben Perowsky (Joseph Arthur, Kaki King). "
