You can't make me give back "Antics in the Forbidden Zone"

"Okay, someone's getting crazy with the compilations. After Antics in the Forbidden Zone I didn't see any reason to have any more Best Of Adam Ant albums.

But here are the changes in song selections from Antics in the Forbidden Zone to Very Best of Adam and the Ants:

Very Best of Adam and the Ants is not in chronological order. I kind of like that, some people don't mind either way.

The following songs from [Antics] are not on [Very Best]

X - "Beat My Guest" (classic song, also from the film SLC Punk!)

X - "Killer In The Home" (haunting classic)

X - "Los Ranceros" (interesting country two-step)

X - "Place In The Country" (my favourite Ant song!)

X - "Whip In My Valise" (menacing classic)

These songs were added to [Very Best of Adam and the Ants]:

"Can't Set Rules About Love" (saccharine pop ballad)

"Deutscher Girls" (obscure b-side)

"Friends" (classic b-side)

"Room At The Top" (latter day sacccharine dance pop)

"Wonderful" (latter day adult-contemporary drivel)

"Young Parisians" (obscure b-side)

*ALL 16 OTHER SONGS ARE THE SAME ON BOTH ALBUMS.

A look at these changes brings me to the following conclusions. They wanted to add songs from subsequent albums Wonderful and Manners & Physique and add some B-Sides for fun. The only new song worth having is "Friends". "Young Parisians" (the French song?) and "Deutscher Girls" (the German song?) are good but don't belong on a "very best of Adam Ant" compilation. I grant that maybe "Los Rancheros" isn't needed on [Antics] and could probably have been replaced with from "(You're So) Physical" which is the one song missing from both compilations.

Taking the new albums into consideration, I would have probably rather added "Beautiful Dream" from [Wonderful] and "Anger, Inc" and the title song from [Manners & Physique]

Of any of the B-Sides I would have added "Doggy Style".
