Synopsis

Album Description
Anjunabeats is the UK?s fastest growing indie dance label and home to acclaimed producers/DJs Above and Beyond. Anjunabeats were formed in the summer of 1999 with the first hit Anjunabeats Volume One. It was a massive club success with support from Pete Tong, Paul Oakenfold and Paul van Dyk. Above and Beyond are behind the decks once again for Anjunabeats Volume Two. The mix begins with the deep, progressive and tech end of the trance sound, then takes things up a notch with a first class selection of big room anthems, climaxing with their hypnotic single "Surrender."

CD Reviews

Great Song Selection
Tryzub | North America | 05/25/2006
(4 out of 5 stars)

"I have this and Volume 3. The song selection on them both is great. If you love, or even like, trance, then these are a must-have. The track "No One on Earth"...worth the cost of the CD. Definitely one of my favorite trance tracks of all time. The vocals are amazing. Gabriel and Dresden (although they suck "live") have created an incredible remix here, as so many of theirs are.

The mixing on this CD is done quite well, although sometimes the beats from the mixing-in track were a bit strong. I really like the mix between Connected and Taurine...very smooth. The next mix is just as good.

I did not, however, like the song order between Circuits and Believe. Circuits is very "strong", but Believe is very "mellow". I would not have put the two back-to-back.

I want to be taken on a journey when I listen to a mix CD. My only criticism of this disc is that I was not. All the songs are good, but the production was lacking.

Overall I give the disc 4 stars."
