CD Reviews

Evil sounds straight from Hell !
A. Vera | Sacramento, CA United States | 07/20/2003
(4 out of 5 stars)

"I'm new to Aborym but not Black Metal music. I bought their album Kali-Yuga Bizarre and really enjoyed it. So I thought what the HELL, I should check out Fire walk With Us. This album starts right where the last album left off. The vocals sound extremely Demonic and I'm sure anyone who enjoys Black Metal remembers Atilla the Ex- vocalist of Mayhem. I still like Kali-Yuga Bizarre a little better but after a few listens, this album really grows on you. Their music has a sound of it's own and that's hard to find these days. They implement Industrial, Trance and straight up EVIL sounds in their music. I guess you could call it the next wave of BM. Samael did something similar on Passage and Eternal, but I think Abroym does it better. Any one who is open minded to new forms of Black Metal would really enjoy Aborym. If your narrow minded and only like your BM to sound the same, you might want to pass on this one."
