"This is one of our favourite CDs. Abida Parveen has an awesome voice that is powerful and precise. The music is sublime and beatifully recorded. This is something that you can listen to over and over again. Its one of those albums that makes you go out and buy every other album from the same artist in the hope that you can continue and extend that experience. I believe this is one of Abida's best and best recorded. Given that it is a relatively recent release, I am hopeful she will release more albums of a similar quality. A more recent single about Bulleh Shah himself is actually even nicer but I have not found it anywhere on the internet as yet. I got my copy of that song from a friend.



We are privileged in being able to understand what she is singing about and have to say that the meaning of the Bulleh Shah poetry is as beautiful and very relevant to humans of all ages, cultures and periods in history.
