"I'm not claiming to be an expert on North African/Middle Eastern music (although I have listend to, and own a lot of it!), but I know music that hits you like a hurricane and transports you. I've had this CD for several years now, and it's still fresh and powerful. A classic.
According to the notes, this music is used for weddings (celebrations) and dancing. Excellent musicianship on instruments and vocals."
